IOS 5.1.1 was just released, mainly to fix some bugs left behind by 5.1. As for the unteathered jailbreak for IOS 5.1, it is on its way. My guess is about a week until there is any news on a release for the jailbreak. But what does this mean for 5.1.1?
As of right now, there is a possibility of the exploits found by Pod2G working with 5.1.1 therefore enabling the 5.1 jailbreak to work with IOS 5.1.1. If you are running IOS 5.1 right now, do not upgrade to 5.1.1 until it is confirmed that the unteatheredjailbreak is working for 5.1.1.
If you are running IOS 5.1.1, there is a teathered jailbreak already available which also works with the iPad 3, and other iDevices.
